Khaidi No 150 Closing Worldwide Collections

The Megastar Chiranjeevi returned to the Telugu cinema after a Sabbatical and can be termed as a comeback through “Khaidi No. 150.” The movie made huge collections across the state and in the Telugu peaking States of Andhra and Tamil Nadu. The movie amassed a total of Rs. 102 crores. It is the second movie after “Baahubali” to have crossed the Rs. 100 crores mark. The next closest movie to this in terms of collections is Mahesh Babu’s “Sreemanthudu” which earned Rs. 84.5 crores.

The areas wise collections of Khaidi No 150 after 50 days mark are:

Nizam – Rs. 19.55 Crores

Ceeded – Rs. 15.35 Crores

Uttara Andhra – Rs. 13.00 Crores

Guntur – Rs. 7.35 Crores

Krishna – Rs. 5.75 Crores

East Godavari – Rs. 8.10 Crores

West Godavari – Rs. 6.10 Crores

Nellore – Rs. 3.50 Crores

Total Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State – Rs. 78.70 Crores

Karnataka and the Rest Of India – Rs. 10.55 Crores

Overseas – Rs. 12.75 Crores

Worldwide – Rs. 102 Crores

Speaking about the movie’s huge success, Chiranjeevi’s son, actor and producer Ram Charan Tej said, “What better way to foray into production than with “Khaidi No. 150.” The film is truly close to my heart because it is my father’s 150th film. The kind of love the audiences have shown in the film is overwhelming and humbling.” The V.V Vinayak’s directorial stars Megastar Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal, Tarun Arora, Brahmanandam, and Ali. The music, also a super hit was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

SS Rajamouli: War between Baahubali, Bhallala Deva will be father of all action scenes

Be it the visual experience or the characters, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning caught the attention of international audience for all the right reasons.
After teasing the audience with Baahubali 2 posters, the team is wrapping up the VFX portions for the film, which is slated to release on April 28.
With just 63 days left for the grand release, SS Rajamouli has made an interesting revelation. On the eve of Maha Shivaratri, Rajamouli, in an interview to Indiaglitz, revealed that the war scene between Baahubali and Bhallala Deva is the highlight of the film.
He said, "The confrontation war between Baahubali and Bhallaladeva will be the father of all action episodes."
On the contrary to earlier reports, Rajamouli confirmed that Baahubali 3 is not on the cards. The Eega director also assured that the theatrical trailer of the film will be out by mid-March. Baahubali: The Beginning, which hit the screens in 2015, was highly successful and grossed Rs 600 crore worldwide.
Speaking at India Today Conclave South 2017, SS Rajamouli revealed that Baahubali 2 would be bigger and better than Baahubali.
The film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty and Sathyaraj is slated to release on April 28, 2017.
